Microsoft claims breakthrough at EU antitrust hearing

Microsoft left a two-day antitrust hearing in Brussels Friday claiming it had reached a breakthrough with European regulators. But the claim of a breakthrough was exaggerated, according to two other people involved in the closed-door hearing.

This year's show is gearing up to represent the year of the ecosystem, as there won't be any major distribution announcements from the Linux heavies.
